Fred has been handcrafting fine furniture for the home for over forty years.  He taught Industrial Arts at the high school level and did numerous pieces in his shop at home during that time.  He is now retired and has been producing heirloom pieces commissioned by clients on  a full time basis. His carefully handcrafted work  has made its way to Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio as well as his  home state Indiana.

Fred uses only kiln dried  hardwoods, mortise and tenon joints, dovetailed drawers, and the finest of finishing techniques.

Fred conferences with the client using a picture that they bring or using ideas that they share which describe the piece they desire.  He then draws the piece for their approval.  Finish date varies depending on type of wood chosen, difficulty of piece and number of prior waiting clients .

Fred's shop is located in beautiful southern Indiana about 35 miles west of Louisville, KY.
